As a Security Officer TWIC Access in Point Comfort TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and help support a professional environment through visible presence and strong communication. You will perform routine patrols assist visitors and employees and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering customer service with agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors contractors and employees by following site-specific access control procedures badge verification steps and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Control entry and exit points by verifying credentials documenting visitor activity issuing temporary access materials and reporting unusual activity or access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and support emergency response activities according to post orders and location protocols.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic at assigned gates and checkpoints help to deter unauthorized access and maintain accurate logs reports and communication records throughout the shift.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entry areas restricted zones and the perimeter as assigned noting hazardous conditions security-related issues and policy violations for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• A state county and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
