As a Security Officer Patrol Documentation in Mountain View CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this role you will support a people-first culture built on teamwork integrity reliability agility and innovation while helping create a welcoming environment for everyone on site.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors employees and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures access protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings common areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials when required and support visitor management processes while following post orders and client-directed protocols.
• Communicate with site contacts supervisors and/or public emergency services as needed regarding incidents maintenance concerns and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A current CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
