Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with access control concerns visitor-related issues and requests for assistance.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions facility hazards and/or suspicious activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of law enforcement experience or at least two years of security supervisor or manager experience or at least three years of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Guard card is required.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at 21 years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
