As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Operator in New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns communicate professionally and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $24.00 - $25.00/ Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors customers and employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents customer concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail café location surrounding exterior areas and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points observe activity within the location and assist with maintaining an orderly environment for customers and staff.
• Prepare clear accurate reports of incidents observations and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
