As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Lenoir NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help deter security-related incidents and support access activity with strong customer service and this unarmed role you will use teamwork integrity and reliability to help create a welcoming environment while responding to routine site needs with agility and professionalism.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures access protocols and emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas loading docks parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of visitors vendors and delivery drivers verifying credentials and directing them according to site policies and approved access requirements.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity by observing trailer yards entry points and high-traffic areas and by communicating security-related issues hazards and/or maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
