Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures monitoring access points and supporting security-related protocols for staff visitors and authorized vendors at a government location.
• Verify identification process visitor entry and exit maintain access records and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings controlled areas and perimeter entry points.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter observing for unusual activity access control concerns and conditions that may require a security-related response.
• Support intake and screening procedures by following post orders directing foot and vehicle traffic and reporting policy violations maintenance issues and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required in accordance with COLA DPSS and/or DHS requirements.
• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
