Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Analyst to join our team. The Security Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the security and protection of our organizations sensitive information and technology systems. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security policies procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Monitor and analyze security logs and reports to identify and respond to potential security incidents
- Investigate and resolve security breaches including conducting forensic analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into system designs and updates
- Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness
- Manage relationships with external security vendors and consultants
- Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning and testing
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as HIPAA HITRUST and NIST
- Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls intrusion detection systems and vulnerability scanners
- Knowledge of network and system security protocols including TCP/IP DNS and SSL
