Qualifications & Education
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a clinical setting
- Demonstrated competency with:
- Feeding tubes
- Seizure management
- Diabetes care
- Cardiac conditions
- At least 1 year of pediatric RN experience preferably in a home care or private duty setting (resume required)
- Strong clinical judgment communication skills and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing assignments
Key Responsibilities
- Float between assigned schools and/or patients based on company needs
- Provide one-on-one nursing care for individual students as required
- Support school-sponsored activities including:
- Field trips
- Organized school event days
- Deliver safe high-quality nursing care in accordance with care plans physician orders and school policies
- Substitute on Private Duty Nursing (PDN) cases or assist with RN administrative duties during school closures and holidays
- Assist with onboarding training and shadowing of RNs requesting first-visit support
- Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication with families schools and internal teams
- Uphold all safety compliance and professional standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational needs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand walk and work for extended periods
- Capability to meet the physical demands of school and clinical environments
