Sanitation Technician- 3rd Shift

Reporting to the Sanitation Team Leader you will support sanitation and basic janitorial operations at our Louisville Kentucky facility. You will work onsite in a manufacturing environment to ensure equipment production areas and facility spaces are cleaned sanitized and maintained to meet safety quality and food safety standards.

• Your schedule includes weekend work on Friday Saturday and Sunday along with one 8hour weekday shift. This will be a 4-day work week. Weekend shifts consist of three 12hour overnight shifts and one weekday 8-hour shift. Additional shifts may be added based on business needs.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning sanitation and basic janitorial duties across production areas offices and common spaces
• Clean and sanitize production equipment floors walls and facility surfaces
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed for proper cleaning
• Follow sanitation procedures safety guidelines and regulatory standards
• Properly use cleaning chemicals tools and personal protective equipment
• Remove waste dispose of materials correctly and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
• Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards
• Document sanitation activities and report any issues to leadership
• Support production teams by ensuring equipment and areas are ready for operation
• Maintain a safe organized and compliant work environment

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in sanitation janitorial or manufacturing environments preferred
• Knowledge of sanitation processes and food safety standards preferred
• Mechanical aptitude to disassemble and reassemble equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including overtime
• Commitment to following all safety and sanitation procedures

Physical Requirements

More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role physical and environmental requirements can differ but include:

• Being on your feet walking around the facility climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
• Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
• Frequently lifting pushing or carrying materials.
