Hope Builders Career Connections (HBCC) is seeking an enthusiastic entry level Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help grow our partnerships and empower young adults to build brighter futures.
This position is hybrid with the first 30-90 days in person at our Santa Ana CA office. Must live within reasonable commutable distance of Santa Ana.
As an SDR youll be the first point of contact for new business opportunities - reaching out to potential healthcare and construction partners sparking meaningful conversations and helping connect them with our services. Youll receive hands-on training mentorship and ongoing development to grow into a full-cycle Account Executive role over time.
What Youll Do
- Prospect and Engage: Reach out to potential partners through calls emails and networking
- Qualify Leads: Identify and nurture organizations that would benefit from HBCCs workforce solutions
- Support the Sales Process: Schedule meetings prepare materials and assist senior team members with client follow-ups
- Learn and Grow: Participate in training and shadow experienced account managers to build your sales skills
- Collaborate: Work closely with a supportive high-energy team to help achieve shared goals

Youre a Great Fit If You:
- Have experience cold calling or selling
- Enjoy talking with people and building relationships over the phone and email
- Have strong communication and organizational skills
- Are coachable and open to feedback as you grow
- Hold a Bachelors degree (preferred but not required)
- Can thrive in a remote role while remaining connected to Orange County

Each year we enroll over 300 young adults impacted by poverty and help them achieve self-sufficiency.
