Room Attendant

Pay Range: $22.00 to $22.50/hour DOE

Position Summary

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive courteous and efficient service to all guests.

Essential Functions

• Must adhere to the companys Service culture 4 Keys to creating guests for life.â
• Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties including but not limited to guest supplies cleaning supplies and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and patios.
• Keep all hallways public areas and closets clean neat and vacuumed (if applicable).
• Restock housekeeping golf cart with cleaning supplies.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report all missing items from room (i.e. irons/boards hair dryers etc.) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for Lost and Found according to the standards.
• Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

• Experience in a resort or a related field preferred.

Working Conditions and Schedule

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required including nights weekends or holidays.
• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects.
• Must be able to stand during entire shift.
• Required to stand walk climb stairs; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop kneel and bend (fold organize scrub etc.)
• May have exposure to chemicals.
