Job Summary
Position Summary:
Were seeking an execution-driven Robotics Assembly Technician to support the hands-on assembly integration and testing of our humanoid robots electrical and mechanical this role you will work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to assemble wire inspect rework and document prototype and production hardware across subsystems including actuators sensors power systems cable routing and structural assemblies. This role is ideal for a technician with 5 years of experience building complex electromechanical systems with strong assembly skills attention to detail and a collaborative approach to development from prototype through production.
Core Responsibilities:
- Build assemble wire inspect and rework robotic and electromechanical subsystems according to drawings work instructions and quality standards.
- Support system integration bring-up basic functional testing and troubleshooting across electrical and mechanical systems.
- Execute assembly and inspection procedures document results and help maintain fixtures tools and build documentation.
- Fabricate and route cable harnesses install components perform fit checks and complete mechanical adjustments and rework.
- Partner with electrical mechanical and manufacturing teams to resolve build issues and improve assembly quality and repeatability.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a robotics electromechanical assembly or manufacturing technician role.
- Strong hands-on experience with mechanical assembly electrical wiring soldering cable/harness fabrication and rework.
- Comfortable using common lab and shop tools precision measurement equipment and torque-controlled tools.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics CAD drawings work instructions BOMs and assembly documentation.
- Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced development environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience assembling robotic systems preferably humanoid and/or manipulation robots.
- Experience with prototype builds low-volume production and transition to manufacturing.
