RNLPN Days or Nights Pediatric Complex Medical (Part-Time or Full-Time)

We are seeking a RN or LPN to join our compassionate team in our inpatient Pediatric Complex Medical program where we provide around-the-clock care in a warm family-centered environment. We support infants through age 14 who are unable to live at home due to complex medical needs helping each child thrive in a safe caring setting.

Available Schedule/Benefits

• Part-Time Days - 2 shifts per week 6:00am-6:30pm every 3rd weekend
• Full-Time Nights -3 shifts per week 6pm-6:30 am every 3rd weekend
• Part Time Nights - 2 shifts per week 6:00am-6:30pm every 3rd weekend

How Youll Make an Impact

• Within the nursing scope of practice physicians orders and the care plan make decisions and deliver a full range of nursing care based on the fundamentals of the nursing process.
• Maintain accurate completed and timely records as defined by nursing standards of practice and ChildServe policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively respectfully and professionally with residents physicians families school personnel ChildServe staff and others to assure assigned childs care needs are assessed communicated and met.
• Provide training to patients families and staff as needed to help advance the skills and knowledge of all people associated with a childs care delivery.
• Demonstrate good stewardship of ChildServe equipment supplies and environment.

What Youll Need

• Current valid license as a RN or LPN in Iowa.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 90 days and before working independently.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs be mobile within the clinic areas and frequently bend lift reach and stand.
• Ability to communicate effectively in (or through) reading writing and speaking the English language.
