Harborview Medical Centers (HMC) HMHAS Office Based Opioid Treatment Program (OBOT) has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse Care Manager (RN2) position.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Full-time 100% FTE 40 hours per week

  • Days M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm


DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

The program offers medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) to adults with opioid use disorder in primary care medical clinics mental health and addictions programs and hospital settings. The program is a funded by
the Federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Opioid State Targeted Response (STR) grant that was awarded to Washington State in the effort to better address the current opioid use epidemic.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide skilled nursing services to hospitalized patients with opioid use disorder and their significant support systems

  • Assessment intake/admission evaluation triage teaching medication induction and stabilizations and monitoring of patients on the Addiction Consult Service

  • Collaborate with team members and outside referral sites with other addiction and mental health programs and primary care providers in assisting patients and supporting their referral needs

  • Organize and update the Addiction Consult Service learners schedule including residents and fellows

  • Participate in the OBOT/ACS teams quality improvement efforts and special projects


REQUIREMENTS

  • Active valid Washington State or Multi-state RN license required by start date

  • At least 2 years RN experience - psych addiction or care management

Compensation Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$46.97 hourly

Pay Range Maximum:

$87.02 hourly

Other Compensation:

$1.00/hour BSN premium Overtime pay Relocation assistance available
