Job Description
What you will be doing:
  • Apply specialized training to deliver world-class health with human connection.
  • Assess identify appropriate nursing diagnoses plan implement and evaluate patients care.
  • Develop update and coordinate the patients plan of care to achieve patient goals and optimize outcomes.
  • Monitor record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Perform and maintain currency of essential competencies as required by specific area of hire and populations served.
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote autonomy dignity rights values and beliefs.
  • Foster a learning environment for patients/families nursing and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Facilitate formal and informal learning for patients/families nursing other members of the healthcare team and community.
  • Align practice with safety and quality identify and correct problems and integrate evidence and best practice into nursing care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and practice to the top of license within legal parameters.
  • Promote a culture of inquiry that explores integrates and disseminates research and evidence-based practice.
  • Lead and coordinate teams appropriately delegate coordinate care and collaborate with others as equal members of the inter-professional care team.
Experience you will need:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
  • 1 year of nursing experience in a NICU environment as a RN.
