About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Installation and Service Technician to join our team. This position involves working across retail environments to install and repair Inventory Control and Video equipment. Success in this role is achieved through collaboration accountability and continuous improvement.
How You Will Do It
Demonstrate accountability and integrity by ensuring all installations and repairs are completed safely and effectively.
Focus on critical tasks by managing service calls efficiently and maintaining accurate records of work performed.
Collaborate with customers and team members to address issues promptly and provide training on equipment use.
Pursue continuous improvement by staying updated with training and certifications and applying feedback to enhance service delivery.
Maintain an accurate parts inventory to support first-time fixes and efficient operations.
Report to management regularly on customer satisfaction and any service or sales opportunities identified during visits.
Required Qualifications
Possession of an EL 06 License.
Proficiency in electronics and networking fundamentals.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills.
Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Physical ability to carry and move equipment up to 70 lbs and work in challenging positions such as climbing ladders or working within ducts.
Preferred Skills
Networking certification.
Extensive experience in installing or servicing IP cameras and DVR/NVR systems.
Adaptability to industry changes and a strong work ethic.
