Retail Sales Support Specialist Produce & Deli

Were looking for a Retail Sales Support Specialist to join our this role youll be the primary point of contact for retail customers supporting deli sales each morning and retail customer orders each afternoon. Youll use your knowledge of fresh products ordering processes and customer service to help customers receive the right products at the right time.

What Youll Do

• Build strong relationships with retail customers by providing responsive friendly service
• Contact assigned customers each day to collect and enter produce and deli orders
• Process new orders order changes cancellations and credits accurately
• Answer customer questions about products pricing availability and promotions
• Recommend seasonal products and communicate inventory updates
• Coordinate with Sales Purchasing Warehouse and Operations to ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Resolve customer concerns quickly while maintaining a high level of service
• Perform warehouse walks to monitor inventory product quality and availability
• Stay informed on seasonal produce deli offerings and market trends
• Maintain accurate customer records and order information using company systems
• Support additional sales and operational projects as needed

What Makes You Successful

• Experience working in a produce department deli grocery foodservice or wholesale produce environment
• Knowledge of fresh produce deli products food quality or inventory management
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email throughout the day
• Strong attention to detail with order entry and pricing accuracy
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments
• Comfortable learning new systems and technology
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook Word Teams)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment
