Retail Attendant

Summary of Duties:

The Retail Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing assigned duties in an efficient and professional manner. This position requires the ability to complete quality work within established deadlines both independently and as part of a team environment. The Retail Attendant interacts professionally with guests team members and vendors to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive customer experience.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining effective communication and coordination with other departments complying with all company policies and procedures and adhering to workplace safety standards. The Retail Attendant is also expected to maintain strict condentiality regarding privileged proprietary guest and employer during and

after employment.

Position Purpose:

The Retail Attendant position is to provide outstanding customer service while supporting the daily operations of the retail areas in a professional efficient and courteous manner. This role is responsible for assisting guests maintaining a clean and organized work environment accurately handling transactions and ensuring compliance with company policies procedures and safety standards. The Retail Attendant contributes to a positive guest experience by working collaboratively with team members and maintaining the

highest standards of professionalism knowledge skills and abilities.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• Knowledge of retail operations including cash handling and point-of-sale procedures.
• Must adhere to workplace safety standards policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with guests team members vendors and management.
• Provide courteous and efficient customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and within established deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Must maintain condentiality of privileged proprietary guest and employer information.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions policies and procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Skilled in multi-tasking and prioritizing responsibilities effectively.
• Problem-solving and resolving customer concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.

Education/ Qualications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of Gift Shop operations procedures and customer service standards preferred.
• Strong guest service interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and typing skills required.
• Ability to read write and speak English effectively.
• Ability to operate standard office and retail equipment including POS terminals and telephones.
• Strong arithmetic and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with guests team members and vendors.

Work Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
• Must maintain strict condentiality and comply with all data privacy policies regarding employee and organizational information.
• Requires problem solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Position involves prolonged walking stooping or bending lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds daily.
• Work is performed in a casino or convenience store environment with varying levels of lighting air quality noise and / or temperature.
