Join MUSC Health as an Inpatient Resource Nurse where your clinical expertise flexibility and teamwork will make a difference for both patients and nursing staff.

This is an exciting opportunity for an RN who enjoys variety excels at prioritizing patient care and wants to support multiple inpatient teams without being tied to a traditional patient assignment.

As an Inpatient Resource Nurse youll partner with Charge Nurses and frontline nursing teams to provide hands-on clinical support improve patient flow and help ensure safe efficient patient care.

Your Day May Include:

• Supporting nurses with assessments medications IV access treatments and other clinical needs.
• Assisting with admissions discharges transfers and patient throughput.
• Providing additional clinical support during periods of high census increased acuity or staffing challenges.
• Serving as a clinical resource and mentor while helping nurses navigate changing patient care priorities.
• Supporting safe patient handoffs timely documentation and coordinated care across inpatient units.

Additional Job Description

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience

• Two years of recent acute care RN experience preferred.
• Strong medical-surgical clinical skills IV proficiency and excellent prioritization abilities.
• Previous Charge Nurse Resource Nurse or preceptor experience preferred.

Licensure & Certifications

• Current South Carolina RN license or multistate compact RN privilege required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Additional certifications including ACLS as required by assigned unit or hospital policy.
