Residential and Commercial Electricity Instructor (Part Time)

Under the supervision of the Academic Affairs Director the Instructor will be responsible for teaching the Commercial/Industrial Electricity class at Orleans Technical College.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in the basics of commercial electricity with emphasis on safety mathematics NEC 2020 code electrical motors controllers and PLCs.
• Supervise students in hands-on trades tasks
• Provide evaluation of students on hands-on activities
• Provide testing of students knowledge of theory; maintain student attendance and grade rosters
• Prepare curricula materials

This position is part-time Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30PM to 10:15pm.

Part-time instructor pay rate is $32.50

• 3 years related work experience required
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills

The base pay for this position is $32.50/hr. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
