Remote Customer Data Specialist

A Remote Customer Data Specialist is responsible for collecting entering updating verifying and maintaining accurate customer information within company databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. The role involves reviewing customer records correcting data discrepancies processing information requests and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of customer information. The specialist works remotely with different departments to support customer service business operations and data management processes. Key Responsibilities Enter update and maintain customer information in company databases and CRM customer records to ensure accuracy completeness and customer details and correct discrepancies when and maintain electronic customer files and customer information requests and update account duplicate incomplete or outdated customer basic reports and summaries related to customer with customer service sales and administrative teams to resolve data-related confidential customer information and follow data privacy routine data audits and quality to internal inquiries regarding customer established productivity accuracy and reporting company procedures for data entry recordkeeping and information Skills and Qualifications Strong attention to detail and data computer skills and familiarity with database in Microsoft Excel Word and Google organizational and time-management to identify errors analyze information and resolve written communication and problem-solving to handle confidential information to work independently and manage tasks internet access and a suitable home Qualifications Previous experience in data entry customer service data management or administrative with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or maintaining customer records and preparing of data validation quality assurance and record management understanding of data privacy and information security school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration information technology or data management is an advantage.
