Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients upon admission and throughout each shift and report changes in condition.
- Perform ordered procedures and treatments and maintain accurate documentation.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for therapeutic responses or adverse reactions.
- Provide timely compassionate patient care and respond to patient needs.
- Educate patients families and caregivers regarding medical conditions treatment plans medications and follow-up care.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BCLS/BLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date
- Associate or Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
- Acute care experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to cross-train across units
