Registered Nurse (RN) Medical 8 East PT Day

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd St. Louis Missouri 63128

Schedule:Full-Time 36 hours/week

Shift:Nights Weekend 7:00 PM - 7:00AM

About the Unit

Neurology 8 East cares for patients with conditions such as strokes seizures brain tumors and brain bleeds. Nurses gain valuable experience with complex neuro assessments safetyfocused care and close collaboration with neurology providers and therapy teams.

About the Role

The Neurology RN provides direct patient care using the nursing process while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include ongoing patient assessments care coordination documentation and delivering compassionate patientcentered care consistent with Mercys mission and values.

This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy clinical complexity teamwork and continuous skill development.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN Diploma or BSN)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
  (or within 30 days of hire)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior hospital or acutecare nursing experience
• Specialty certifications

New graduate nurses are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and assist up to 50 pounds
• Prolonged standing and walking
• Ability to bend reach kneel squat and assist patients safely
