About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Registered Nurse MSU/PCU for a 13-week day shift assignment in Clarkston WA. This role is in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital and requires a strong MedSurg/PCU nurse who is comfortable flexing across departments as needed.
Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care for MedSurg PCU and telemetry patients.

Assess patient needs and provide appropriate patient education.

Monitor patient safety and follow preventative safety measures.

Operate and troubleshoot equipment used in PCU/Telemetry/MedSurg areas.

Follow infection control isolation and standard precaution procedures.

Maintain complete and accurate nursing documentation.

Process physician orders accurately and in a timely manner.

Report critical lab values to physicians per policy.

Give complete and accurate shift reports.

Restock emergency carts patient rooms and general supplies as needed.
Requirements

Active Washington Registered Nurse license required.

Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required.

MedSurg and PCU experience required.
-
BLS required.
-
ACLS required.
-
Meditech experience preferred.

Must be willing to flex to departments as needed.

Holiday coverage required.

Strong documentation communication and patient safety skills required.
