Schedule: Day Shift; 36 40 hours per week with call component
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse PACU for a 13-week contract opportunity in State College Pennsylvania. This role provides post-anesthesia nursing care during Phase I and Phase II recovery supporting safe patient transitions from anesthesia through discharge or transfer to the receiving unit.
Responsibilities
Provide PACU nursing care using ASPAN standards for post-anesthesia recovery
Assess patient condition prioritize care and monitor recovery progress
Maintain airway support oxygenation pain management and post-op safety
Communicate post-operative reports and coordinate safe patient transfers
Collaborate with physicians anesthesia teams nurses patients and families
Requirements
Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license required
Minimum 2 years of PACU post-anesthesia or critical care nursing experience preferred
BLS ACLS and PALS certifications required
Meditech experience preferred
Must be available for day shifts 36 40 hours per week and call component
