About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Obstetrics Registered Nurse for a 13-week rapid response contract opportunity in Machias Maine. This role supports the OB unit and provides care for antepartum intrapartum postpartum nursery and post-op gynecology patients in a patient-centered hospital setting.
Responsibilities
Provide holistic nursing care for OB patients using the nursing process Assess plan implement and evaluate care for antepartum labor delivery postpartum nursery and post-op GYN patients Educate patients and families while supporting safe and individualized care Manage supplies equipment documentation and unit-specific clinical needs Collaborate with physicians charge nurses and hospital departments to support quality patient outcomes
Requirements
Active Maine Registered Nurse License Required Minimum 2 years of OB Labor & Delivery Postpartum or acute care RN experience required BLS ACLS Neonatal Resuscitation Program And STABLE Certifications Required Cerner experience preferred COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate; must be available for night shift and holiday coverage
