The Infusion Center sees approximately 1520 patients per day in this busy and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Safe and Compassionate Infusion Therapy
  
• Administer IV medications and therapies following NVRH and INS standards while monitoring patient responses and ensuring comfort and safety.
  
• Coordinate Clinical and Administrative Operations
  
• Manage scheduling prior authorizations and clinical order reviews while maintaining effective communication with providers payers and care teams.
  
• Educate and Support Patients and Families
  
• Provide clear personalized education about treatment plans assess understanding and document teaching efforts to promote informed care.
  
• Ensure Accurate Documentation and Compliance
  
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in electronic health records medication administration logs and transfusion records in accordance with hospital policies.
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of two years RN experience is required.
  
• Must have at least One-year acute care experience preferred.
  
• Must have Graduate of an approved RN School of Nursing. BSN required.
  
• Must have a current Vermont or multi-state compact Registered Nurse license.
  
• Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) certifications preferred
  
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  
• Effective team skills including interaction support and respect are required.
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Excellent communication skills professionalism and reliability
  
• Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents completing forms opening and sending e-mail messages.
