The RN evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinates patient care collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. This position upholds patient rights maintains confidentiality and performs all duties in alignment with Mercys mission values and Service Standards.
Position Details:
Position Responsibilities
Deliver competent compassionate nursing care to patients
Float to the following clinical areas as needed:
Med Surg
Orthopedics
Cardiac
Cardiac Neuro
Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Critical Care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe effective patient outcomes
Serve as a resource to unit staff by sharing skills clinical knowledge and best practices
Adapt quickly to varying workflows patient needs and unit requirements
Qualifications
Required:
Current Arkansas RN license
BLS certification (must be current)
ACLS & NIHSS required within 90 days of hire
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
2 years of critical care experience
