Position Details:

Registered Nurse Full-time 36-40 hrs./week nights (1745-0615) 12-hour shifts rotating schedule shifts vary working both in the Emergency Room and MedSurg. Shared call (low census call certification call mandatory call as schedule needs).

Position Summary:

Provide nursing care across Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical units while supporting varying staffing and patient care needs. The Rover Registered Nurse serves as a versatile clinical resource adapting to changing assignments patient volumes and departmental priorities. This position requires strong assessment skills flexibility and the ability to deliver safe effective care in diverse patient care settings.

Requirements

Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current RN license from the Oregon State Board of Nursing required. Current BLS required. ACLS NRP ENPC and TNCC certification as soon as available after hire. Acute and Post Partum unit check off required after hire. PALS certification encouraged.

Experience:
At least one (1) year of acute clinical experience preferred. Demonstrates excellence in emergency nursing skills and patient care.

Job Knowledge:
Responsible to understand and capable of implementing duties with the scope of rules and regulations of the Oregon State Board of Nursing and the Nurse Practice Act.

Skills:

Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability when working across multiple care environments. Quickly establishes priorities and integrates into changing assignments and patient care teams. Maintains strong clinical assessment and communication skills while caring for patients with varied medical conditions. Functions independently while collaborating effectively with physicians nurses and support staff. Provides leadership mentorship and patient education as appropriate. Maintains professionalism confidentiality and a patient-focused approach in all interactions.
