About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse Emergency Room for a 10-week day shift contract in Calais ME. This role is responsible for providing safe effective patient-centered emergency care in a critical access hospital setting.
Responsibilities
Provide direct emergency nursing care to patients and families Assess patient conditions and respond quickly in urgent situations Develop and support patient care plans with the healthcare team Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital standards Communicate clearly with physicians nurses and clinical staff Protect patient confidentiality and support quality care delivery
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current BLS/BCLS certification required ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire Strong assessment communication and documentation skills Ability to function independently in emergency situations Ability to work 12-hour day shifts Holiday coverage required
