FT (M-F 8am 5pm)

What Youll Do

Youll play an important role in supporting the Diagnostic Imaging department by providing friendly efficient service to patients while keeping scheduling and administrative functions running smoothly.

  • Welcome and assist patients in person and by phone providing professional and courteous customer service.
  • Answer a multi-line telephone system relay messages and schedule or reschedule patient appointments.
  • Register patients for Diagnostic Imaging exams and provide accurate preparation instructions.
  • Process and distribute reports to the appropriate destinations and maintain patient forms and records.
  • Perform general clerical and secretarial duties including ordering office supplies and supporting the daily operations of the department.
  • Perform a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

Who Were Looking For

Were looking for a customer-focused organized and dependable professional with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable with technology works well with patients and coworkers and can quickly learn new systems and processes.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; an associate degree in a business-related field is a plus.
  • Two years of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
  • Strong customer service interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and navigate computer-based applications and healthcare systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients third-party payers employers physicians coworkers and administrative staff.
  • Spanish-language skills are preferred but not required.

  • Pay Range:$17.50-$21.87/hour (based on experience)
