Job Description

  • Represent clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions.
  • Review draft and negotiate contracts and other real estate documents.
  • Guide transactions from initial review through closing.
  • Review title matters and help identify and resolve issues affecting transactions.
  • Communicate directly with clients lenders title professionals opposing counsel and other transaction parties.
  • Provide practical legal guidance on real estate matters and transaction requirements.
  • Manage multiple active matters while maintaining accuracy and meeting critical deadlines.
  • Help deliver responsive client-focused service throughout every stage of a transaction.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of directly relevant real estate law experience.
  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • New York Bar admission and good standing.
  • Working knowledge of real estate transactions and related legal documents.
  • Strong drafting analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to independently manage priorities and deadlines.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Tonawanda NY.
