The University of Washington Information School is recruiting graduate students for the LIS 598 A hourlyReader/Grader position. Qualifications are based on prior course work skill level experience and schedule availability.
LIS 598: Video as Inquiry: Youth Media and Community in a Networked Age
LIS 598 A Lecture: M/W 5:30 pm - 7:20 pm
This position will work a maximum of 10hours per week.
Responsibilities may include some or all the following duties:
- Prepare and grade exams and papers
- Maintain grading records
- Manage and respond to course related email
- Attend instructor/employee meetings
- Attend lectures and office hours
- Review literature
- Reader/Graders may not perform teaching duties.
Pay: $23.81 - $25.48 per hour based on experience.

- Applicants must be located in the United States for the duration of the appointment.
- Graduate students enrolled in a minimum of 5 credits at the University of Washington Seattle as of Autumn 2026
- Strong interest and ability to work with students having diverse skill levels.
- Prior completion of LIS 598with strong performance or demonstrated proficiency in the course content.
