Job Summary

What Drives Success

This distribution associate performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials supplies equipment and finished products.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Receive goods verify items against the shipment record and inspect condition.
  • Gather verify and pack items for shipment according to specifications and the chosen transportation method.
  • Record received and shipped items according to established procedures.
  • Route materials supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
  • Complete written and computerized documentation.
  • Work in the warehouses seasonal conditions.
  • Hours are 7:30 to 4:30 pm with occasional overtime.
  • Forklift experience with sit-down and propane preferred.
What We Are Looking For
  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 1 year of related experience. Prefer forklift certification.
  • Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
  • Requires basic reading writing and numerical ability.
  • Valid drivers license with good driving record may be required.
  • Able to operate powered equipment such as a forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
What We Offer

Compensation:This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $18hr to 23hr. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market and the skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
