Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Tech to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations within a hospital radiology setting. The technologist will operate imaging equipment position patients ensure radiation safety compliance and produce high-quality diagnostic images while delivering compassionate patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures
Position patients accurately for optimal image quality
Operate radiographic and digital imaging equipment safely
Follow radiation safety and exposure protocols
Perform portable X-ray exams in patient rooms ER and OR settings
Prepare and assist with contrast media procedures
Maintain accurate patient imaging records and documentation
Assist patients with movement transfers and positioning needs
Ensure proper film/image labeling and processing
Support radiology scheduling and administrative workflows
Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms
Deliver patient-centered care while ensuring comfort and safety
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Radiology / X-Ray Tech experience required
Strong proficiency with radiographic imaging equipment
Experience with precise patient positioning techniques
Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
Experience with digital imaging systems and image management
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in fast-paced clinical environments
Excellent adaptability problem-solving and stress management skills
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program required
Completion of clinical and ARRT requirements required
