A leading Westchester hospital is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join its growing Radiology team. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple ambulatory and hospital-based settings while utilizing state-of-the-art imaging technology to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
Properly prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety
Produce high-quality diagnostic images and review completed studies for accuracy and completeness
Assist physicians during special procedures as needed
Educate patients and family members regarding examinations and answer questions appropriately
Process images and maintain accurate documentation within RIS PACS and EMR systems
Perform equipment quality assurance checks and report equipment issues promptly
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
Communicate effectively with radiologists physicians nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
Provide clinical guidance and instruction to radiology students when assigned
Participate in departmental meetings training programs and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License or Limited Permit
ARRT Certification (R) or eligibility for certification
Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team

Monday-Friday 4p-12a
Salary and Bonus
$41.00 - $52.00/hr Shift Differential
$7000 Sign-On Bonus
