Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Location: Elmhurst NY
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks

Shift

• 5x8 Mid Shifts

• Shift Timing: 4:00 PM 12:30 AM

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join a healthcare facility in Elmhurst New York. The ideal candidate will have strong general radiography experience excellent technical skills and the ability to provide high-quality patient care while performing diagnostic imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures according to department protocols

• Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images

• Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely and efficiently

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records

• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures

• Follow radiation safety standards and infection control policies

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient care

• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report equipment concerns promptly

Requirements

• Minimum one year of General Radiographer experience required

• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technologist training program or Military Training required

• Current ARRT Certification and Registration required

• Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist License required

• Associates Degree preferred

• Current BLS Certification preferred

• Strong technical communication and patient care skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
