Position Title: Radiologic Technologist CT Location: Syracuse NY 13215 Employment Type: Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Evening Swing Shift Schedule: Monday Friday 10:30 AM 7:00 PM 42.5 Hours per Week
Job Summary: Seeking an experienced CT Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic CT and radiographic imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting while ensuring high-quality patient care and radiation safety compliance.
Requirements:
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License required
Minimum 1 year of CT/MRI imaging experience required
Strong CT and radiographic imaging skills required
Knowledge of radiation safety and patient positioning required
Experience with RIS documentation systems required
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced imaging environment
Ability to participate in rotational weekends holidays and on-call coverage
Successful pre-employment health clearance required
Responsibilities:
Perform CT and radiographic imaging procedures as ordered
Prepare and position patients for imaging exams
Explain imaging procedures and ensure patient comfort
Operate CT and radiology equipment efficiently
Select appropriate imaging exposure factors
Maintain radiation safety and protection standards
Process imaging studies and maintain accurate documentation
Enter exam information into RIS systems
Assist radiologists and physicians during imaging procedures
Monitor imaging equipment and report malfunctions
Maintain clean and organized imaging areas
Support departmental workflow and imaging protocols
Additional Details:
Rotational weekends and holiday coverage required
On-call responsibilities included
