$15000 sign on bonus for qualified individuals

Description:

Must be able to be on call including weekends and holidays and flexible to work above standard hours to meet staffing needs.

• Utilizes ionizing-radiation producing equipment to administer therapeutic doses of radiation as prescribed by the physician for each patient undergoing a prescribed course of radiotherapy
• Maintains treatment equipment and records monitoring treatment area and other duties as needed

• Accurately delivers a planned course of radiotherapy by administering treatment in a safe manner
• Demonstrates how to use Linacs and CT simulator and perform patient treatments
• Provides patient education scheduling and excellent customer relations
• Correctly documents and captures charges for procedures

Requirements:

• Associate degree
• New graduates will be acceptable for initial hire with the understanding that the individual must pass boards within 3 months of hire
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy
• State Radiation Operator Certification
• Basic Life Support
• Radiation Oncology preferred
