Job Summary
This position requires 2 hours/day preferably in the morning hours of 9:00 am - 11:00am at the students home.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver customized 1:1 lessons tailored to the students specific learning pace style and goals.
- Create lessonsdesign modifications and track progress relative to established IEP goals and benchmarks.
- Use multi-sensory approaches specialized literacy and mathapproaches and/or assistive technology to engage the learner.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates and share strategies.
- Progress Monitoring: Keep accurate logs of sessions track behavioral and academic milestones and adjust teaching methods in real time.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education Elementary Education Psychology or a related field.
- Certification: Valid teaching credential or special education license is preferred.
- Experience: Prior background working with diverse learnersincluding students with autism.
- Desired Characteristics: High levels of patience empathy strong interpersonal communication and reliability.
