This position will primarily be working in our three assembly areas to ensure that parts comply with all customer requirements. This position requires a great deal of attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings schematics and specifications.

Job Summary
The Quality Technician/Inspector is responsible for ensuring that electrical assemblies and components meet the established quality standards and specifications. This role involves performing inspections testing and documenting results to maintain high levels of product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Schedule
Monday-Thursday 3pm-1am (Must be available to work this required shift)
Key Responsibilities
Inspection and Testing:
Conduct thorough inspections of electrical assemblies components and subassemblies using various tools and equipment (e.g. multimeters oscilloscopes).
Perform visual and functional tests to verify compliance with specifications schematics and standards.
Identify and document any defects or non-conformances found during inspections.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results test data and non-conformance reports.
Prepare and submit quality reports including statistical analysis and trends to the Quality Manager.
Ensure proper documentation of all quality control processes and procedures.
Quality Control Processes:
Develop implement and monitor quality control processes and procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure compliance with industry standards regulatory requirements and company policies.
Stay updated on relevant standards (e.g. IPC-A-610 ISO 9001) and incorporate them into quality control practices.
Assist in internal and external audits as required.
Training and Support:
Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Support the Quality Manager in developing and maintaining quality training programs.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or technical certification in electronics electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality control or inspection within an electrical assembly or manufacturing environment.
Skills:
Proficiency in using inspection and testing tools and equipment.
Strong understanding of electrical assembly processes and standards.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Effective communication and documentation skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings schematics and specifications.
Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during inspections.
Manual dexterity to handle small components and tools.
Visual acuity to detect defects and discrepancies.
Work Environment
Primarily in a manufacturing or production setting.
May involve exposure to moderate noise levels and electrical hazards.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
