Pronto Staffing is seeking an experienced quality technician for a busy manufacturing facility.
Job Summary
The Quality Technician helps make sure all products meet customer this role you will inspect materials when they arrive check products during production and test final items. You will follow set procedures and use technical drawings to ensure everything is made correctly.
Responsibilities
Perform incoming in-process and final inspections on products
Read and review technical drawings to check production accuracy
Audit process sheets to make sure workers follow the right steps
Inspect manufacturing tools fixtures and molds before production begins
Place reject tags on materials that do not meet standards and write reports for management
Run laboratory quality tests and keep testing equipment clean
Test and calibrate measuring tools instruments and devices
Requirements
At least 4 to 6 months of previous quality control experience
High school diploma or GED
Ability to read blueprint-style technical drawings
Experience using computer programs to log data and make charts
Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing setting
Proper safety habits required to avoid job hazards
Steel-toe boots and proper work attire (jeans and t-shirt) required
