Purpose: The Quality Inspector I will perform basic inspections and sorting of incoming materials parts/components. Provide support as needed to the Operations group.
You will be responsible for:
- Perform inspections of purchased parts according to well-defined criteria using standard visual physical mechanical and/or electrical measurements
- Ability to perform visual inspection on large lots size under a microscope.
- Accurately document the results of inspections and testing
- Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform data entry into associated data systems.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- 1 year or less in a manufacturing environment - Medical device experience a plus.
- Ability to use inspection gages and microscopes
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow SOPs and inspection procedures
- Basic knowledge in math
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner under general supervision
- Computer literacy required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Knowledge in ISO and FDA 21 CFR QSR and ISO 13485 a plus

$38500.00 - $61985.00Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).This position is eligible to participate in the Companys long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation 120 hours per calendar year
