JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Core Quality Engineer to join our Trading Platform Engineering team within Investment Implementation & Trading (IIT) this role you will support business-critical applications in an asset management environment. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality software delivery through testing and automation. Youll work closely with technology team members and business partners to deliver resilient systems and continuously improve how we build and test software.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain testing artifacts including test strategies plans and cases
  • Execute functional regression and integration testing
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts
  • Collaborate with development and business teams
  • Track and manage defects
  • Perform backend and database testing
  • Align with QE standards and best practices

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in Quality engineering or related roles
  • Understanding of order management systems and trade lifecycle processes
  • Experience with Selenium Karate UFT or REST Assured
  • SQL and database testing knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Hands-on experience with Agile software development practices

Preferred Experience

These are qualifications that would be helpful for the position but are not firm requirements.

  • Working knowledge of Order Management systems
  • Familiarity CI/CD tools
  • AI-assisted tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot Claude Code or similar)

Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary variable compensation and benefits. The base salary range for this position is:

USD 80000 - 150000

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.

Base salaryis only one component of Wellingtons total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives if eligible.
