Quality Assurance Technician

• Drive Quality at the Source through providing work stations with the Quality at the Source necessities: 

• Outline critical quality aspects and understand process capability and control 

• Create the appropriate required standards through communication with customers and suppliers  

• Provide all necessary quality tools and controls and create Work Instructions that detail the above 

• Maintain Quality at the Source through providing general quality controls: 

• Audit the quality of in-coming material finished product and work stations inspection process 

• Support line supervision with line calls 

• Participate with internal and external customers and vendors in resolving problems by investigating complaints collecting necessary data and solving complaint based on established root cause 

• Facilitate Problem Solving Teams: 

• Lead improvement projects following defined problem-solving checklist including problem definition 

• Analyze data using control charts quality data root cause diagrams. 

• Communicate status of problem resolution via intranet Feedback Program 

• Communicate all the above activities to supervision and work stations as appropriate. 

• Support the standardization of the department through the creation and revision of procedural documentation 

• All other functions as assigned 

Qualifications :

Qualifications:  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Strong presentation negotiation and confrontational skills  

• Knowledge and utilization of basic PC skills 

• Basic Simonton product and process knowledge 

• Must successfully pass color blindness test
