Job Summary
Job Summary for QA Engineer:
- Create and execute manual and automated tests (regression smoke E2E) to ensure product quality and performance.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and manage test code in Bitbucket.
- Utilize QA automation tools such as Selenium Cucumber and performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Conduct API testing and automation using tools such as Postman and SOAPUI.
- Perform database testing using MySQL and Postgres.
- Track test progress defects and coverage using qTest and Jira.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business development QA) to drive E2E testing and ensure requirements are met.
- Mentor and guide other QA team members on tools processes and best practices.
- Write and maintain comprehensive test plans test cases and documentation.
- Assess application architectures to drive automation strategy and planning.
- Participate in Agile development processes including daily scrums and sprint planning.
- Apply AI tools and techniques to enhance QA activities in both manual and automated contexts.
- Review test results document defects and ensure quality standards are followed.
- Communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Consistently contribute to improving user experience based on understanding of customer requirements.
- Quickly learn and adapt to new tools technologies and domains as needed (experience with Databricks ecommerce Salesforce loyalty/rewards programs are a plus).
