Contract: 6 months
Location: Austin Texas (Hybrid) **MUST BE LOCAL TO AUSTIN AREA FOR CONSIDERATION**
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to support manual testing efforts within enterprise ServiceNow environments. This role will focus on ensuring high-quality software delivery by executing test cases validating functionality and supporting Agile development teams in a structured QA environment. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills experience with ServiceNow testing and familiarity with enterprise SDLC and QA processes.

Qualifications
- 4 years of manual testing experience in ServiceNow
- Strong experience in test case creation and execution within a formal QA framework
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum SDLC processes
- Strong analytical documentation and communication skills
- Working knowledge of API and integration testing
- Proficiency using Jira for defect tracking and Agile work management
- Experience supporting Texas state agency systems preferred
- Familiarity with enterprise QA standards and SDLC processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) module
- Experience testing additional ServiceNow modules (ITSM CMDB HRSD)
- Experience with general government compliance audits or release readiness processes
- UAT coordination experience in government or regulated environments
Duties
- Perform manual testing of ServiceNow applications to validate functionality and business requirements
- Create document and execute detailed test cases and test scripts
- Identify document and track defects using Jira
- Perform API and integration testing where applicable
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support sprint testing activities
- Validate system changes against acceptance criteria and business requirements
- Support UAT coordination and end-user testing activities
- Ensure adherence to enterprise QA standards SDLC processes and release guidelines
- Collaborate with developers business analysts and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery
