Youll manage supplier relationships negotiate pricing and terms monitor inventory and purchasing needs and work with teams across the organization to support efficient day-to-day operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving building strong vendor partnerships and making informed purchasing decisions. This is a fully on-site role in Wrightsville PA.What Youll Do
- Source evaluate and select suppliers based on price quality reliability service and overall value; develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing payment terms contracts lead times and delivery schedules; prepare and issue accurate purchase orders and monitor fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory purchasing requirements market conditions supplier availability and supply-chain risks; resolve supplier issues and identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities.
- Uphold KRBs mission vision and values demonstrate stewardship of employee ownership and recognize the importance of safety for products our customers and our teammates.
- Previous experience as a Buyer Purchasing Specialist Procurement Specialist or similar role; manufacturing distribution or similar industry experience preferred.
- Strong negotiation vendor-management relationship-building analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; effective written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with ERP systems purchasing/procurement software and Microsoft Excel; knowledge of inventory management demand planning supply-chain processes purchasing metrics cost analysis and forecasting preferred.
