Position Summary

The Purchasing Agent will manage the endtoend procurement process ensuring timely acquisition of materials equipment and services while optimizing cost and maintaining high quality standards. This fulltime role is based in Los Angeles California 91304 and offers a competitive annual salary of $85000$125000.

DaytoDay Duties

• Identify evaluate and qualify suppliers to secure the best value quality and delivery performance.
• Negotiate contracts pricing and terms with vendors adhering to company procurement policies.
• Generate track and manage purchase orders; resolve discrepancies delays or backorder issues.
• Collaborate with engineering project management and inventory teams to forecast material needs and support project timelines.
• Maintain accurate procurement records supplier performance metrics and documentation of costsaving initiatives.
• Monitor market trends and industry developments to recommend strategic sourcing improvements.
• Ensure ontime delivery of materials to job sites while complying with safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct cost analysis generate reports and support budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Assist in updating purchasing policies procedures and bestpractice guidelines.

MustHave Qualifications (Essential)

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 45 years of proven purchasing or procurement experience preferably in electrical construction or related industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Proficiency with ERP/purchasing software (e.g. SAP Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
