Opportunity

Keeps all lobbies and public facilities (such as lobby restroomsdiningareas the front desk and offices) ina neatand clean condition. Public Area Attendant promotes a positive image of the property tomembers and must be pleasant honest friendly and shouldalsoableto address guest requests and also acts as turndownattendantrefreshing member rooms early evening.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleans public sitting rooms publichallwaysand allpublic restroomsthroughout themansion
• Cleans andmaintainsdining roomboardroom and occasionally spa area.
• Sweepvacuumand mop flooring throughout public areas. Posting caution signs whenappropriate.
• Polishes furniturefixturesand railings as needed per venue.
• Vacuumsand polisheselevators.
• Dusting all public areas.
• Keeps the front of the hotel free from trash.
• Perform special cleaning schedule given by the housekeeping control deskand/or housekeeping management
• Report maintenance to supervisor/ housekeeping deskimmediately.
• Assistmembers in Public Areas whenrequired.
• Have good knowledge of allmansionfacilitiesand resorthours of operation restaurantsshopsand function rooms.
• Responsible tomaintainsupplyinventory in thePublic Area cleaningclosets.
• Adhere to uniform and grooming standards as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of allmembersand general hotel information.
• Change and replace used linen andterry change dirty glasses remove all trash turn on radio or TVfill ice bucketclose the drapesand windows wipe down mirrors and any wet surfaceshang robes and jackets place shoes in the closetand turn down the beds in all guest rooms and suites.*
• Setheatingand cooling thermostats when guests are not present.
• Load and stock service carts with linen and towel supplies.
• Respond to specialmemberrequests ina timelyfriendlyand efficient manner.
• Perform the tasks of aHousekeeperas needed tofacilitateservice.
• Report any faulty equipment.
• Report any suspicious activities.
• Comply withhotel Lost and Found policy.
• Other related duties as assigned.
  

We have casual part-time opportunities available working both weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 1:00 pm and 9:00 pm.

Skills/Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma is preferred but notrequired.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Prior hotel/lodging experience is preferred but notrequired(level I).
• Candidate must speak write and/or understand English.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for this position.
• The ability to read andcomprehendsimple instructions shortcorrespondenceand memos.
• Ability to read safety procedures and instructions.
• Ability tomaintainproper security key control procedures formemberrooms.
• Be able toworkweekends and holidays.
• Be able to meet flexible schedules anddayoffs.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this position is $13.10 - $19.60. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidates education and work location.
